There is good news for both buyers and sellers: for sellers, it’s your market with high demand for homes and low inventory to choose from; for buyers, the prices have raised, but getting in now holds promise for earned equity as prices are not anticipated to go down, but to continue rising.
One needling question this first quarter of 2021 has been, “What is a buyer to do who needs a property to appraise for a loan when many accepted offers are as high as 20% above asking?” The answer is good news in that this has been going on for a few months now and those ‘over-priced’ properties are now closing escrow and helping new appraisals to come in at the higher values.
