The 2nd feature in our series. We’ve all experienced it at one time or another – that hotel room you’d love to take home. Well, thinking like the pros responsible for some of the most inviting and fabulous hotels in the world, you can bring that ‘atmosphere’ they create into your own home. We found a fabulous article by John Wogan from the magazine, Real Simple, who put his expertise to work and highlighted the pros tips. Our 2nd feature in this series is the Greydon House in Nantucket, Massachusetts, that opened in 2016. The look is classic. Decorating Tips:
- Add influence by subtly including elements that reflect where you live. This keeps your HOME feeling warm and alive rather than a cookie cutter version of a showroom.
- Weave in finds that capture your life, your loves. It’s not about sticking to one theme; it’s about letting the life you’ve lived show through organically.
- Greydon House in particular incorporates natural elements that bring the outside indoors, like unusual shaped driftwood, or wildflowers, or unique stones. This brings the tranquility of the outdoors into your HOME.
